The Fowl Play of Chicken Supremacy

Alright, hold on to your feathers folks, because this one's a doozy! So, picture this: a group of scientists are working on a biological weapon in their lab, and they're so focused on their work that they don't even realize that they've accidentally released the virus into space!

But here's the kicker - instead of causing any harm or destruction, the virus ends up triggering a wild and unexpected mutation in all the hens and related species! Suddenly, these once tiny birds are growing to massive sizes, towering over buildings and terrifying the locals with their newfound dinosaur-like appearance.

As word of the giant chickens spreads, people can't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. Farmers are scrambling to build bigger coops and feeders, while children delight in the idea of having pet T-Rex-sized birds. And as for the scientists responsible for the mishap? Well, let's just say they won't be living this one down anytime soon!

Oh boy, it looks like the giant chicken situation just got a whole lot more complicated! You see, it turns out that these big ol' hens weren't just bigger - they were smarter too. And by smarter, we mean they were way more intelligent than any human being!

It wasn't long before the giant hens started communicating with all the animals around them, both domesticated and wild. They formed alliances with cows, pigs, and even squirrels, and before we knew it, they had taken over the entire animal kingdom!

Humans were no match for the giant chickens and their army of animal allies. The hens had advanced technology, like egg-shaped spaceships and laser-beam eyes, that they used to outsmart us at every turn. They even had their own language, which they used to coordinate their attacks and taunt us mercilessly.

So, as it turns out, the giant chickens weren't content with just taking over the world. Oh no, they had to go and conquer space and the sea too! We humans were completely outmatched by their advanced technology, and before we knew it, we were all trapped in cages, hanging upside down like the very chickens we used to slaughter for food.

The giant hens looked at us with cold, calculating eyes, like we were nothing more than a tasty snack. They transported us around in scooters, tossing us into the air and catching us in their razor-sharp beaks. And if that wasn't bad enough, they even came up with a new recipe for "human65" and "chilly human" - dishes that made our stomachs turn just thinking about them.

But despite all this, we humans were determined to fight back. We banded together, using our own technology and cunning to try and outsmart the giant chickens. We tried to reason with them, to negotiate a truce, but they just laughed at us with their squawking, chicken-y voices.

The giant chickens have taken over the world and turned us humans into nothing more than food.

Yes, you heard me right, the giant chickens are not only more intelligent than us but they also have a sense of fashion. They strut around in their feathered gowns and diamond-studded beak rings, looking like they just stepped off the runway. Meanwhile, we humans are stuck wearing nothing but plain old rags or nothing, a sad reminder of our fallen status.

But, it's not all bad news. You see, the giant chickens have also made some impressive technological advancements. They have their own sci-fi movies and they can holiday in space! Yes, you heard me right, these chickens can travel to other planets and solar systems in the blink of an eye. And, to make matters worse, they've even managed to make contact with aliens.

Meanwhile, us poor humans are being transported around as slaves and food. It's a grim existence, but at least we have each other for comfort. We spend our days telling chicken jokes and trying to stay positive in the face of our impending doom.

But, just when things couldn't get any worse, the chickens inject the same virus that humans had used to create them into other animals like tigers, leopards, and whales. The animals mutate and become super-powered, giving the chickens even more control over the animal kingdom. It's like some sort of twisted Jurassic Park experiment gone wrong!

However, not all humans are content with being nothing more than chicken nuggets. A resistance movement starts to form, led by a charismatic chicken-whisperer named Jerry. Jerry and his followers use their knowledge of human technology to create advanced weapons and tactics in a bid to overthrow their feathered overlords.

But, despite their best efforts, the chickens always seem to be one step ahead. They have spies everywhere and their technological advancements make it almost impossible to catch them off guard.

And, if things couldn't get any more absurd, the chickens even start playing with us like we're their toys. Their kids tie threads to us and play with us like we're puppets, making us dance and sing for their amusement. It's a humiliating and degrading experience, but we try to keep our heads held high.

The chicken had become the ultimate rulers of the world, with their advanced knowledge and technology. They had destroyed all forms of pollution, including factories, bridges, and housing, and replaced them with a pristine, green world resembling the stone age, but with all the latest advancements.

The chickens had a way of life that was enviable. They lived in harmony with nature, never exploiting or degrading it. They had discovered the true wealth of the world - the wealth of the sea and space. They knew the secrets of the ocean depths and the mysteries of the universe.

As they ruled over the world, the chickens became increasingly powerful and wealthy. They had no use for money or material possessions, but they had acquired all the knowledge of the world, and that was their true wealth.

The humans, on the other hand, had been reduced to a state of slavery and servitude. They were kept in cages and bred for commercial use. Their bodies were the ultimate delicacy for the chickens, and their meat was the centerpiece of many a lavish feast.

But despite their enslavement, the humans couldn't help but admire the chickens' way of life. They saw the chickens living in harmony with nature, and they longed for that kind of life themselves. They knew that they had brought their own downfall upon themselves, through their greed and their destruction of the environment.

As the years went by, the chickens continued to rule over the world, but they did so with a sense of benevolence. They had learned from the mistakes of their predecessors, and they were determined not to repeat them. They had created a world of beauty and harmony, and they were determined to protect it at all costs. They had created a world where all living things could thrive, and they were determined to keep it that way for generations to come.

As the chickens ruled over the world, one man stumbled upon a great discovery - he learned to speak the chicken's language. He quickly became a celebrity among the humans, who saw him as the key to their freedom from the chicken overlords.

But instead of using his newfound power for good, the man had a different idea. He decided to introduce the concept of religion and caste into the perfect world of the chickens. And what a mess that turned out to be!

In no time at all, the chickens were divided into different religious groups, each with their own beliefs and practices. There were chicken mosques, chicken churches, and even chicken synagogues. And just like that, the world of the chickens was plunged into chaos.

But it wasn't just religion that caused division among the chickens. Soon, terrorist groups began to form, each with their own agenda and tactics. The chickens were no longer united in their quest for a better world - they were divided, fighting among themselves.

As the chickens squabbled, the humans watched in disbelief. They had once hoped to overthrow their chicken overlords, but now they saw that the chickens were no different than they were. They too were capable of greed, violence, and corruption.

And so, the world of the chickens remained divided, torn apart by religion and terrorism. The man who had introduced these concepts into their world was long gone, but his legacy remained, causing chaos and destruction wherever it went.

I let out a sigh of relief and looked around, feeling a little embarrassed. "Phew, thank goodness it was just a dream," I said to my kids. "I was so scared for a moment there. I mean, can you imagine a world where chickens were smarter than us and we were their food? What a nightmare!"

My kids just stared at me with confused look on their faces. "Um, Dad? You were screaming and thrashing around in your sleep. It was kind of scary," one of them said.

I chuckled nervously. "Sorry about that, guys. I guess I just had a really vivid dream."

As I got up to go wash my face, I couldn't help but think about how ridiculous the whole thing was. Chickens ruling the world? Ha! It was almost as absurd as thinking that a giant spaghetti monster created the universe. Wait, scratch that, that's a real thing now. Well, I guess anything is possible in this crazy world.

Why I Would Tell You Not to Buy a Holiday Home in Wayanad

Let me start with something that may sound strange coming from me. I live in Wayanad. I am building businesses here. I am involved in hospitality. I am working on holiday homes and nature based living. And still, if someone calls me and says, "Anup, I am thinking of buying a piece of land in Wayanad and building a homestay. What do you think?"   My first answer today is not, "Yes, go ahead." My first answer is, "Wait." Spend some time here. Understand Wayanad. Then decide. Because I have slowly realised that many people are not really investing in Wayanad. They are investing in a picture they have created in their minds about Wayanad. They see a beautiful piece of land. A mountain view. A stream running beside it. A lake somewhere nearby. Trees everywhere. Maybe the forest is just a few hundred metres away. The broker says, "Sir, this area is going to develop." The price still looks reasonable....

We Forgot Us

Srinivas was in his late fifties and, by every conventional definition, he was a successful man. He had spent most of his working life in one of the biggest corporate companies in Bengaluru. Good position, good salary, good house, good savings and a life that most people would look at and say, "What more do you want?" Saritha was working too. She was about six years younger than him, ambitious, independent and still very serious about her career. Their two children were doing well. One was working in the USA and the other was studying there.   From outside, the Srinivas family looked like one of those families who had got everything right.   Inside, something had slowly gone missing.   Their mornings were almost mechanical. They would wake up, go for their walk, come back, get ready and leave for work. Their offices were in different directions and the Bengaluru traffic made even a normal journey feel like a punishment. It was not that their offices were ver...

No Audience, Still Acting

I was having my tea the other morning, sitting on one of the small shacks near my construction site. A teenage girl walked past and waited at the bus stop across the road. It was clear something was special for her that day. Maybe her birthday, maybe an event in school. She kept adjusting her hair and her dress, and from the corner of her eye she checked if anyone was noticing her. That small moment pulled me into a long thought. Who are we when nobody is watching? I realised how often we live our life like someone is always looking at us. As if there is a stage, lights, and a crowd waiting to judge our next move. I lived that way too. Every smile measured, every word chosen, every silence planned. I knew how to act in rooms, how to fit in, how to be liked. What I did not see then was how temporary habits become permanent masks. Slowly the mask sticks so tight that one day you forget how your real face even looks. The mask was supposed to be something I take off when I feel safe. But a...
