History Is Important.

In the last few years, we’ve all become more passionate about our culture, traditions, and history. And honestly, that’s a good thing. Knowing where we come from is important. Our roots matter. Our heroes matter. But here’s a serious question, while we keep looking back, do we know where we are heading? Everywhere  from street corners to Parliament, we keep hearing names like Maharana Pratap, Shivaji Maharaj, Rana Sanga… Great warriors, true legends. They should be respected. But how are we showing that respect? By just shouting their names in speeches? Or by actually living by their values, courage, honesty, and standing up for the people? Let’s talk about what’s going on today. In Parliament, the temple of our democracy, instead of talking about jobs, rising prices, farmers’ struggles, women’s safety, and broken hospitals, One recent incident that comes to mind is when Parliament — yes, the temple of democracy — spent time discussing a comedian’s vulgar jokes. A Letter to Our Leaders: On Dharma, Power, and Responsibility

Dear Leaders, On the day of Ugadi — a festival that is known by different names in different parts of our country, I wanted to wish all our leaders with a different kind of message. Some time back, I was reading Chapter 16 of the Bhagavad Gita, where Lord Krishna explains something very deep and important. He says that in this world, there are two kinds of human nature, the divine and the demoniac. They don’t understand what is right and what is wrong. They only think of their own gain. This is not just a spiritual message. It is also a mirror for those who hold power, and for all of us who follow leaders blindly-especially o...

Our Stay at Vaidyaratnam

We had a long stay here—almost a month—and it was truly a wonderful experience worth sharing. You don’t need to check the clock at Vaidyaratnam. At exactly 6 AM, there’s a gentle knock on your door, and there stands Gopi, ready with your choice of morning coffee or tea. Then comes a peaceful walk in the herbal garden, surrounded by colorful flowers, chirping birds, and a cool, refreshing breeze. You meet fellow patients—some enjoying the morning air, others on video calls with loved ones—all with a smile of satisfaction, feeling the relief from their pain. The nurses here are both friendly and firm, ensuring you never miss your medicines. They appear like clockwork, reminding you to take them before meals, after meals, or whenever needed. And just when you think you have a moment to yourself, there’s another check-up—BP, blood work, or a quick consultation. Your day gets busy with treatments from highly skilled and humble therapists. Their expertise is impressive, and their dedic...
