We had a long stay here—almost a month—and it was truly a wonderful experience worth sharing.
You don’t need to check the clock at Vaidyaratnam. At exactly 6 AM, there’s a gentle knock on your door, and there stands Gopi, ready with your choice of morning coffee or tea. Then comes a peaceful walk in the herbal garden, surrounded by colorful flowers, chirping birds, and a cool, refreshing breeze. You meet fellow patients—some enjoying the morning air, others on video calls with loved ones—all with a smile of satisfaction, feeling the relief from their pain.
The nurses here are both friendly and firm, ensuring you never miss your medicines. They appear like clockwork, reminding you to take them before meals, after meals, or whenever needed. And just when you think you have a moment to yourself, there’s another check-up—BP, blood work, or a quick consultation.
Your day gets busy with treatments from highly skilled and humble therapists. Their expertise is impressive, and their dedication is evident in every session. The doctors tailor treatments with precision, and rest is just as important as the therapy itself.
Before you know it, the day has flown by—with doctor visits, lunch in the canteen, more therapies, and moments of relaxation in between. Evenings are for strolling around the campus, and the must-visit museum and temple are simply mesmerizing.
The canteen is where we all bond. The menu isn’t vast, but the food is nutritious, well-prepared, and served with care. The staff works tirelessly to make sure everyone is comfortable. And how could I forget the evening coffee and snack from Gopi? He’s always on time, never disappointing!
Housekeeping and the gardening team keep everything spotless and beautiful. The evening ritual of dhoop (incense) adds a peaceful touch to the atmosphere.
But what truly made our stay special was the wonderful people we met—each one with different health issues, yet always smiling, cracking jokes, and spreading positivity. I’ve seen patients arrive in wheelchairs and leave with incredible improvements. Special mentions to Vikas, Sneha, Shree, Jay, Bala, and Sujatha, who were a joy to be around. A heartfelt thanks to the lovely couple, Mr. & Mrs. Rathikant, and their adorable daughter Aadya. And our Telugu conversations with Kalidas Ji and Padma Garu not to forget our very own "Singam", Raghava, with his wife. Also "the sisters", Magala and Parvathi, whose bond is unbreakable, brought an extra warmth to our time here.
The doctors deserve all the praise—Dr. Karthika and Dr. Krishna Das, always caring, patients, and meticulous in their approach. No concern is too small; everything is noted and addressed with care.
Dr. Neelakandan Mooss, or "Thirumeni" as he is respectfully called—the guiding force of Vaidyaratnam. His profound wisdom, sharp diagnostic skills, and subtle humor create an experience that is beyond just a consultation; it’s a masterclass in healing. His presence alone brings a sense of reassurance, and his ability to understand the root of ailments with such precision is nothing short of extraordinary.
Dr. Yudu Mooss, with his unwavering dedication and deep-rooted knowledge, is undoubtedly carrying forward this priceless tradition. With him at the helm, the legacy of Vaidyaratnam remains in safe and capable hands, ensuring that generations to come continue to benefit from this remarkable institution.
And finally, a heartfelt mention to the ever-supportive and wonderful Dr. Amitha from the Hyderabad branch. Her warmth, patience, and unwavering guidance made a world of difference in our healing journey. She was always there with a reassuring word, a listening ear, and the right advice at the right time—truly a pillar of support when we needed it the most.
When it’s time to leave, it doesn’t feel like just checking out of a treatment center—it feels like leaving a home, a place where you found comfort, care, and lifelong friends. Vaidyaratnam isn’t just a place for healing; it’s a place filled with warmth, positivity, and a sense of belonging. Our hearts are full of gratitude for this experience.
