Dusseshra Means to Me.

Just as we all celebrate Dusseshra, would like to share what it means to me… very truly said, Dussehra signifies the victory of good over evil, truth over false and dharma over adharma, it inspires us to follow the path of dharma (righteousness) and truth. But if we jump deep down into it, no matter how powerful is the evil (Consider any of your character or a person), it will come to an end one day. In the end truth, justice and goodness prevails. On this day I have seen effigy of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnaad are burnt, they are nothing but qualities which spoil the mind that is lust, anger, identification, greed, too much pride, jealousy, selfishness, injustice, cruelty and ego. When you read about the Ravana, we understand he was one of the wisest and learnt person of his time. he is considered as one of the greatest devotees of lord shiva. he had mastered all the four Vedas and shastras. he was a great veena player and master of astrology and Ayurveda, with all the knowledg...

He was looking at the blank ceiling… he knew, his chances this time would be very bleak; He was being prepared for an operation As his anaesthesia started kicking in, his eyes were closing, he had a smile and a prayer, “Please Forgive Me! God, Knowingly or unknowingly I would have harmed or troubled people with my actions, with my Talk or even thoughts. I would not like to hold grudges against anyone, have forgiven all those, who have harmed me with their action or words”. Blank……………. When he opened his eyes, He finds Bright lights blazing, when he looked around with his dizzy eyes, he found people walking across, all in white clothes, he was sure he had reached heaven… “Doctor, Prem has...

Secrets

Sitting out on her apartment Balcony on the 25 th floor, stretching her legs on to the railing and feeling the tickling of the slight drizzle on her feet, Exposed to the cold, A mild breeze moving her fringe, felt as though  the breeze is whispering some secret into her ear, she looked out, hoping to find someone. It was a  lazy Sunday afternoon, She was feeling cold, she decided to snuggle in a  blanket with a cup of hot tea for herself. she kept aside her Magazine which she was reading and walked barefoot, a chill, a shiver passed across her body. Madhuri plugged in her earphone and switched on her playlist for a rainy day, she was dancing and Humming to some romantic rainy number, her music was interrupted by an incoming call. She was surprised to find Sam’s call, He generally doesn’t call at this hour, it was a video call, Sam was now in Europe on a Business engagement, she showed SAM how beautiful the climate was and he showed her the first snowfall of the season....

Max, Moose, Masha, and ME.

Reshma wanted — needed — to nudge Me a little closer to being perfect, to make Me into a mate who might be flawless and exasperating a little less, She has never bothered to follow the rule and advice book available in the library, The usual nagging of the wife is not her style, for which I was prepared, and I have read all those books, In fact, I can write a book, how to avoid your wife’s advice to Improve…. I am one of those who believe I am the best and need no improvement. Most of our known friends complimented us repeatedly on how well we communicated — our union was better than most. The Righteous

As they say, there was nothing special about me, I was considered as a normal girl, as you can think off, brought up in a typical middle-class family, I was forced to go to classical dance and music classes, which I just hated but pushed myself to attend a few classes. I was keener towards playing football but for my mother me going to play with the boys was a big NO, so that dream remained just a dream, I don’t blame her those days girls were not allowed much outdoors. I was not a bright student either, they used to refer me as an average student, my mother wanted me to be a doctor, but I was nowhere near to those expectations… So, as they call, I was an Average girl or a girl next door, whom no-one would notice. I had a lot of things to tell, I used to make up weird stories and had very unrealistic dreams and wanted to share with someone, As friends used to feel I was too loquacious, elder brother was always with his friends, outdoor, never sat with me to listen, father was atypical ...

ON YOUR OWN

Most of us have got a lot of time to spare and self-introspect in the last few months, what we have done till now and the road ahead never could have imagined that the freedom one has, can be taken away so soon without even realizing it, A small virus, which is not even visible to naked eyes….  In the last few months, people who I have known both professionally or personally have approached me, asking, if it would be a good time to start a business (could be because of passion or may have been forced due to circumstances). I am no management guru, no expert, but I tried putting 20 years of experience of being on my own, which I have learned, while experimenting, time and again, in few points which may be of some help. As such this could be useful to any business but I have kept in mind small entrepreneurs who would be trying for a business turnover of around less than 10 Cr. It all starts with a dream, to make that difference in the industry, and to achieve the goal, support a team...
